Desire isn’t gone.
She's just exhausted.

Big Desire Energy is a Valentine’s edition Pleasure Picnic exploring what desire, intimacy and connection look like in a tired, over-stimulated world.

Set inside the insanely aesthetic Soft Focus House, our signature event series, Pleasure Picnics return to Naarm / Melbourne for an intimate afternoon of shame-free, uncensored conversation.

Channeling the closeness and quiet rebellion of a 1970s conversation pit. Think floor seating, layered textures, lush florals and a space designed for you to kick off your shoes, settle in and speak your mind.

You’ll share drinks, light refreshments and a pleasure filled goodie bag, while taking part in open, gently-guided conversations alongside some of the most thoughtful minds in sexual wellness, women's health, mindfulness and modern relationships. This isn’t a panel or a workshop, it’s a seat within the conversation.

When: Sunday 15th Feb, 3 - 6pm
Where: Soft Focus House, 17 Victoria St, Fitzroy

Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate and grounded. Bookings are essential.

What to expect

Less women’s circle, more conversation pit. These unique gatherings are elevated, culturally sharp and intentionally designed. Intimate floor seating, lush florals, inspired styling and culinary bites. A space designed for real connection, not small talk.

No two Pleasure Picnics are the same. Each one is shaped by its theme, its guests and the moment we’re in. You’ll take a seat inside the conversation alongside some of the most interesting minds in sexual wellness, women's health, relationships and modern life.

In a time of loneliness, digital overload and surface-level connection, this is an IRL reminder that real conversation matters more than ever.

Drinks, light bites and a curated goodie bag included. And probably a new friend or two.

Come curious, leave buzzing.

Special guests

You’ll be joined by four guest experts, gently guiding conversations, each bringing a distinct lens to desire, connection and modern womanhood:

  • Bryony Cole- Global thought leader on intimacy in the age of AI, exploring how technology, desire and human connection intersect.

  • Laura Roscioli - Sex writer and dating expert, bringing cultural insight and honest perspective on modern relationships and desire.

  • Ashleigh Paholek - TV reporter and founder of TIER Society, guiding conversations around self-worth, identity, communication and confidence.

  • Naomi Buck - Wellbeing therapist and meditation facilitator, grounding the space with presence, deep listening and nervous-system-aware guidance.

Together, they don’t lead from a stage, they gently hold the circle, inviting thoughtful, open conversation where everyone has a voice.

Conversation themes

Big Desire Energy starts from a simple truth: in 2026, desire isn’t dead... she’s just exhausted!

Across the afternoon, we’ll gently explore:

  • Desire in a low-dopamine, overstimulated world - and why it feels harder to access right now

  • Opting out of dating, sex or connection - when it’s protective, not a failure

  • Intimacy and relationships in the age of AI, remaining human within digital closeness and the reemergence of analogue

  • Identity shifts, collapse and reinvention - who we are when old versions no longer fit

These themes act as a loose guide, the real magic comes from what unfolds in the room, together. Jumping in if you feel comfortable sharing, or listening to the collective experience and wisdom of this inner circle.

Take home

A curated goodie bag featuring Cute Drinks, Bed Intentions and fresh florals by Margo's.

Plus conversations that stay with you. New perspectives. New friendships. And pleasure that lingers. Priceless! 🫶
