Womanhood isn’t a straight line, it’s a series of versions of ourselves.
Womanhood is an International Women's Day edition Pleasure Picnic exploring what it means to move through womanhood as it really is: nonlinear, layered and often off-script.
We’ll talk identity shifts, ageing, visibility, the mental load, and the quiet transitions that reshape who we are along the way. Creating space to feel seen, connected and grounded as we continue to evolve.
Set inside the insanely aesthetic Soft Focus House, our signature event series, Pleasure Picnics return to Naarm / Melbourne for an intimate afternoon of shame-free, uncensored conversation.
Channeling the closeness and quiet rebellion of a 1970s conversation pit. Think floor seating, layered textures, lush florals and a space designed for you to kick off your shoes, settle in and speak your mind.
You’ll share drinks, light refreshments and a pleasure filled goodie bag, while taking part in open, gently-guided conversations alongside some of the most thoughtful minds in sexual wellness, women's health, mindfulness and modern relationships. This isn’t a panel or a workshop, it’s a seat within the conversation.
When: Sunday 8th March, 3 - 6pm
Where: Soft Focus House, 17 Victoria St, Fitzroy
Spaces are intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate and grounded. Bookings are essential.

What to expect
What to expect
Less women’s circle, more conversation pit. These unique gatherings are elevated, culturally sharp and intentionally designed. Intimate floor seating, lush florals, inspired styling and culinary bites. A space designed for real connection, not small talk.
No two Pleasure Picnics are the same. Each one is shaped by its theme, its guests and the moment we’re in. You’ll take a seat inside the conversation alongside some of the most interesting minds in sexual wellness, women's health, relationships and modern life.
In a time of loneliness, digital overload and surface-level connection, this is an IRL reminder that real conversation matters more than ever.
Drinks, light bites and a curated goodie bag included. And probably a new friend or two.
Come curious, leave buzzing.

Conversation themes
Conversation themes
Womanhood isn’t a straight line, it’s a series of versions of ourselves.
Across the afternoon, we’ll gently explore:
- Identity shifts and the art of becoming - Who am I now, and who am I allowed to be?
- Off-script womanhood - Not behind, just somewhere else.
- Visibility, aging and being seen - What happens when society looks through us, and how we respond
- Beyond motherhood - Why motherhood is one expression of womanhood, not its definition.
These themes act as a loose guide, the real magic comes from what unfolds in the room, together. Jumping in if you feel comfortable sharing, or listening to the collective experience and wisdom of this inner circle.
